Shoe Production Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shoe Production Specialist to join our team in Northampton. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in shoe production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily and weekly targets, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Be trained on machines and production processes throughout the production area, including cross-departmental training when necessary.
- Prioritize work to meet production needs and adapt to exceptional events such as machine breakdowns or lack of materials.
- Liaise with the Team Leader and/or Supervisor to address quality or production issues.
- Ensure departmental machinery and equipment are in good working order and report any issues to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor.
- Train others once fully trained.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the shoe industry or similar is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
- A responsible and conscientious attitude.
- Calmness under pressure and decision-making skills.
- Accuracy in recording data and the ability to respect confidential company or personal information.
