Electromechanical Assembly Specialist

Our client, a reputable and innovative engineering and manufacturing firm, is seeking to enhance their team. They are currently in search of an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to contribute to their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble intricate high and low voltage electromechanical systems for prototypes and products under development to ensure timely delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.

- Install electrical and mechanical components, including contactors, relays, PCBAs, low voltage and high voltage wiring harnesses, fasteners, seals, and more.

- Interpret basic schematics and instructions, where some degree of process enhancement and manual adjustments may be necessary.
- Assist the Manufacturing Engineering Manager in process development, including tool and jig specification/selection, implementation of in-process and end-of-line testing, and preparation of production documentation such as work instructions and establishing production cycle times.
The ideal candidate will possess:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly within sectors such as automotive, aerospace, marine, or motorsport manufacturing.
- Proficiency in understanding mechanical and electrical component schematics.
- Capability to construct complex assemblies by following assembly schematics and work instructions.
- A solid grasp of manual assembly techniques.
- Experience with drilling, tapping, filing, and utilizing hand tools.
- Familiarity with mechanical or electrical design tools (preferred).
- Background in Process Engineering (preferred).
