Head of Commercial Services

Your new company Hays is exclusively partnering with the Student Union of a prestigious 'Top 10' university to support them in recruiting a Head of Commercial Services. This organisation provides excellent services, opportunities, and facilities to support and inspire a diverse population of over 16,000 students.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an outstanding organisation that is committed to the development of its commercial services. You will be at the forefront of the union's commercial strategy, leading and managing a committed team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Services Management: Maximise profits from existing services, develop the range of products and services available, work with the marketing and communications department to promote the services and tailor services based on feedback.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to generate funding from external sources, build relationships with external organisations, and promote the union's commercial services.
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise managers of the 4 main income-generating commercial areas as well as the student staff population.
What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of commercial success, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective commercial strategies.
