Support Worker Opportunity in Totton

Hunts Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable and experienced Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to work on a flexible basis within an Ofsted-rated Good special needs school near Totton.
In this role, you will provide vital support to children and young people with special educational needs, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans and adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of each child.
The ideal candidate will possess experience working or volunteering with children with SEN, ideally within a school setting or similar. A proactive work ethic, resilient and patient nature, and a good understanding of special educational needs and behaviors are also essential.

About the Job
- Estimated salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per year (approximately £12.25 per hour)
- Day shifts available Monday to Friday, full and part-time hours available
- Term time only position
- Ongoing temporary contracts available
