About Us
">We are a forward-thinking and friendly nursing team based in Totton, Southampton. We are seeking a skilled Nursing Support Staff member to join our team.
Role Overview
">This 24-hour per week position involves working at one of our two surgery sites in Totton, Southampton. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a large team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
">- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Collect blood samples from patients as per practice policy
- Undertake tasks such as ECGs, Dopplers, injection of B12, Pneumococcal and Influenza Vaccine once received appropriate training
- Undertake opportunistic screening such as BP, BMI, smoking status
- Undertake Health Care checks
- Encourage health promotion and lifestyle changes where appropriate
Salary
">£18,000 - £20,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
