Job Overview

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To support the children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests.
  • To promote the young person's independence and wellbeing.
  • To attend weekends away, holidays and trips away with the children.
  • To protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare.
  • To provide emotional and practical support to the young people within your home.

Requirements

To be successful as a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will need:

  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • An empathetic, caring and resilient nature.
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar Social Care setting.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
