Job Overview

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily needs of children and young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Attend weekend activities, holidays, and trips to ensure the children's interests are catered to.
  • Protect the children from any risks to their health and welfare, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to the young people within your care.
Requirements
  • A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
