SEN and SEMH Assistant

EdEx – Education Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified SEN and SEMH Assistant to join their team in Barnet. As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching professionals to provide targeted support to students with SEN and SEMH needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates to gain hands-on experience in a primary school setting while developing their skills and knowledge in SEN and SEMH support.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting students with complex needs in 1:1 and small groups
- Developing and implementing individualised plans to meet students' needs
- Communicating effectively with teaching staff, parents and carers
- Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment
- £22,500 - £23,750 per annum (equivalent to £105 - £110 per day)
- Working across EYFS/KS1/KS2
- Monday - Friday (no weekends)
- Long-Term, Full-Time role
- Opportunities for permanent positions/teacher training
- Based in Barnet
