HR Manager Job Description

VanRath is partnering with a highly successful private sector business to fill a newly created HR Manager role on a full-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Managing all disciplinary matters, including litigation.
  • Supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures.
  • Nurturing a positive working environment.
  • Overseeing, reviewing, managing, and implementing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Implementing a structured pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assessing training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Delivering HR training modules with key managers.
  • Delivering a comprehensive HR induction program for all new employees.
  • Working with the Senior management team to create internal employee work groups and create a regular structured reporting/meeting structure.
  • Ensuring effective use of resources to cost-effectively achieve internal and external excellence service levels with sustainable productivity.
Requirements:
  • Degree in HRM or related subject and/or CIPD qualification.
  • Experience in a Senior Advisory or Management level role, with a desire and willingness to develop your experience further in post.
