Patient Flow Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Patient Flow Coordinator to join our Customer Services team on a bank basis. This role is based in our Head Office in Central London.
Key Responsibilities- Allocate rooms according to the current admission list by planning ahead and working with Ward Managers to maintain high levels of service and quality to patients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Check and monitor pre-admission documents in advance to determine insurance cover, self-pay, or Letter of Guarantee requirements have been escalated to Patient Liaison.
- Allocate following days' admissions as far in advance as possible with support from Ward Managers.
- Prepare daily reports on projection figures for bed occupancy and capacity.
- Demonstrable experience of being a Manager, Team Leader, or Supervisor of a Patient Flow, Bed Management, or Admissions Office.
- Experience of applying SLAs/KPIs to drive performance is essential.
- Experience of working in a high-pressured, performance-driven environment is essential.
- Working knowledge of inpatient hospital admissions and patient pathways is desirable.
- Working within an independent healthcare environment/hospital with leadership duties is advantageous.
