Are you a graduate looking to start your career in childcare? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in County Durham.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide high-quality care and education to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will involve supporting children with mild learning difficulties, working 1:1 and as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

This is a great opportunity for graduates who are eager to gain experience working with children. You will receive comprehensive training and support to help you develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this rewarding role.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and all applicants must undergo a DBS check. Our successful candidate will be enthusiastic, resilient and empathetic, with a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children with SEN.

The salary for this role is £85-£95 per day, paid inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but there may be opportunities to make it permanent in the future.
