We are ideally looking for someone with a few years of office-based experience, whether that be in a customer service or administrative role. As part of this role, you will be responsible for processing orders, managing inbound calls, and providing accurate and complete information to customers.
This is a Monday to Friday position, with hours from 9am to 5pm and a 1-hour lunch break. The company offers a range of fantastic benefits, including an excellent bonus opportunity per quarter based on sales targets, 25 days holiday, free parking on site, and an excellent pension scheme.
This role is paying up to £28,000 depending on candidate experience. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is looking for a new challenge, then we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage inbound calls and provide exceptional customer service.
- Confirm prices, stock availability, and deliveries to customers.
- Process incoming orders and ensure accurate and complete information is provided.
- Raise quotations when requested and identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers and the external sales team through open and interactive communication.
- Meet personal and customer service team KPIs and targets.
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives.
- Keep records of customer interactions and ensure all correct information is sent for orders to be fulfilled correctly and on time.
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Highly computer literate and able to adapt to new systems quickly.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a strong team player.
- Flexible and keen to learn.
