Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct mental health assessments of children and young people aged 0-18 years, utilizing expertise to identify and address complex needs.
  • Develop and implement enhanced risk assessments, care plans, and safety plans, ensuring the well-being and safety of clients.
  • Perform community assessments and ward assessments, providing comprehensive evaluations and recommendations.
  • Provide intensive support for a 2-week period, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Offer guidance and support to junior staff, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
  • Have recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist, with a strong understanding of local healthcare systems.
  • Have recent NHS experience, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
