Job Summary

This role involves assisting the class teacher in delivering learning experiences, collaborating with therapists, and ensuring the safeguarding of students. You will work closely with our team to develop individualised plans for students, helping them improve their social, emotional, and mental well-being.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Support students with moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs;">
  • Collaborate with therapists to develop forward plans for students;">
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour;">
  • Ensure the safeguarding of students, adhering to established procedures;">
  • A proactive approach to supporting students with SEN and additional mental health needs;">
  • An understanding of challenging behaviour and effective strategies for management;">
  • Certificate(s) in childcare or related field, preferably with experience working with children with SEN.">
