Job Summary:

We are seeking a Child Development Specialist to join our Academics team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children who have special educational needs (SEN) and contribute to their growth and development. As a Child Development Specialist, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans, engage children in activities that promote their well-being, and contribute to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development, education, or a related field, and be passionate about supporting children who have experienced trauma, neglect, or other adverse childhood experiences. You will possess excellent communication skills, be able to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and parents, and have a keen interest in child development and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans for children with SEN
  • Engage children in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and mental well-being
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other professionals to create a safe and nurturing learning environment
