About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Marine Farming Environmental Specialist to join our Sustainability & Development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the environmental sustainability of our marine farming operations.

You will be responsible for conducting environmental surveys, collaborating with production and fish health teams, and supporting regulatory compliance. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of sustainable aquaculture growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental surveys and collaborate with production and fish health teams to assess environmental conditions and identify new site opportunities.
  • Support regulatory compliance by managing site leases, licenses, and permissions, and oversee the timely submission of statutory reports and data returns.
  • Collect and analyse sustainability data, help compile net-zero action plans, and work with industry partners to foster biodiversity.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing, with attention to regulatory and environmental compliance.
  • Experience in environmental monitoring or aquaculture (advantageous). Basic understanding of aquaculture regulations is beneficial, though full training will be provided.

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience. With a competitive salary and benefits package, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
