About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our Outpatient Administration team at the Leeds Dental Institute. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and training administration staff, ensuring the effective administration of patient bookings, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train administration staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient administrative processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely booking of patients, meeting Trust targets and deadlines.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including monitoring attendance, approving leave, and HR issues.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to telephone enquiries and resolving issues in a polite and helpful manner.
- Obtain complete information for each patient attendance and record changes onto the Patient Administration System in a timely and accurate way.

Person Specification
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.
- A good team player, with the ability to work flexibly in a diverse and demanding environment.
- Knowledge and experience of using the Trust's Patient Administration System.
- GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics grade C or above.
- Good basic standard of education, demonstrating excellent communication skills and numeracy.
- Experience at supervisory/senior level in a healthcare environment.
- Well-developed knowledge and experience of using a variety of IT applications in a Windows-based environment.
