About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Hygiene Manager to join our team at Abel & Cole. As a key member of our Site Services team, you will be responsible for delivering effective facilities maintenance, projects, and hygiene support across our Andover sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Site Services team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of facilities maintenance and hygiene services.
  • Develop and implement a cost-effective and compliant facilities maintenance plan, including CM and PPM.
  • Implement a robust hygiene program across all Andover sites, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage the day-to-day facilities and hygiene budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement a training and development program for staff, focusing on health, safety, and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Maintenance/Facilities/mech/elect background, with C&G apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management experience, with Prince 2 Foundation/Practitioner/APM certification.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including LOLER/PUWER.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
