At Abel & Cole, we're committed to providing exceptional food delivery services while prioritizing sustainability and ethics. As our Facilities and Hygiene Manager, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our operational and facilities equipment across our Andover sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver effective facilities maintenance, projects, and hygiene support to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Support Site Services activities across all sites and provide direction to the Facilities and Hygiene team.
  • Work closely with the Site Services Manager and other team members to ensure seamless collaboration and a professional example.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Site Services Manager and ensure Health & Safety standards are in place and regularly reviewed.
  • Implement a cost-effective and compliant facilities maintenance plan, CM and PPM, and a hygiene program across all Andover sites.
  • Manage the day-to-day facilities and hygiene budget, and develop a training and development program for all staff.
Requirements:
  • Maintenance/Facilities/mech/elect background (C&G apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred).
  • Project Management experience (Prince 2 Foundation/Practitioner/APM preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Good understanding of Statutory & Regulatory compliance.
  • Proven Supervisory/Management experience within a Facilities/Hygiene Environment.
  • IT literate, competent in MS Office applications.

This is a full-time dayshift position, Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week. Flexibility with regards to shift and weekend work will be required.
