About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Facilities and Hygiene Manager to join our team at Abel & Cole. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective facilities maintenance, projects, and hygiene support to our operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Site Services team to ensure smooth site operations and maintenance.
  • Deputise for the Site Services Manager in their absence.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, including LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Implement a cost-effective and compliant facilities maintenance plan, including regular inspections and repairs.
  • Develop and implement a hygiene program across all sites, ensuring strict contractor control and regular risk assessments.
  • Manage the day-to-day facilities and hygiene budget, including procurement and inventory management.
  • Lead the Facilities and Hygiene team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including LOLER and PUWER.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • IT literate, with experience of MS Office applications.
