A leading manufacturing company in Hove is seeking an Accounts and Invoicing Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate will assist the Accounting Manager with various tasks, including invoicing, sales ledger management, credit control, export documentation, and shipping logistics.

Key Accountabilities:
  • The role involves collaborating with the Financial Controller on daily accounting activities
  • This team member processes sales ledger invoices efficiently
  • Managing export sales documentation and performing administrative tasks is part of this role
  • Preparing monthly VAT schedules and quarterly returns accurately is a key responsibility
  • The role involves responding to customer inquiries and providing support
  • Liaising between production and shipping departments ensures seamless operations
  • Generating statistical reports as needed is essential for decision-making
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proficiency in sales ledger management is essential for success
  • Experience with export/shipping documentation is highly valued
  • Skills in Sage and Microsoft Excel are required
