Come and work with us at WhereToTalk, a leading provider of mental health services. We are seeking an experienced Counselling Specialist to join our team in Plymouth.

The successful candidate will provide specialist therapeutic counselling to clients within the context of a non-judgmental and confidential service. Key responsibilities include providing pre-trial counselling for clients going through the Criminal Justice system and post-trial therapeutic support. The ideal candidate will also be able to operate in accordance with current service policy and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework. This includes having a Diploma in counselling at Level 4 or above, experience of working with adult clients who have suffered Sexual Violence (SV), and BACP Individual Membership and registration.

This is a fixed-term position until 28th March 2025, with a competitive salary of £29,304. You will also receive 25 days (pro rata) holiday rising incrementally to 30 days (pro rata) after five years, plus all bank holidays, as well as opportunities for professional development.
