We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher and Mentor to join our dedicated team at Polaris Community. This is an exceptional opportunity to utilise your expertise and passion for special education to make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children.

As an Academic Learning Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational approach of our school, working closely with colleagues to develop and implement innovative strategies that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will be responsible for leading by example, inspiring our students to reach their full potential, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including comprehensive training, flexible working hours, and access to state-of-the-art educational resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement bespoke educational programs tailored to individual student needs
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing evidence-based practices
  • Mentor and support colleagues in enhancing their skills and knowledge
  • Engage with external stakeholders to promote best practices in special education

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) with extensive experience in special education
  • Proven track record of success in driving student outcomes and promoting inclusivity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A deep understanding of the ASC & SEMH needs of students with SEND
