Role Summary:

A SEN Support Assistant is required at Academics to work with a pupil who has ASD and support a small group of children with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
  • Helping children understand the teacher's instructions.
  • Working with individual learners 1:1 or with small groups in the Learning Support department.
  • Keeping track of and recording pupil progress.
