About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sciensus Pharma Services Limited. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to children with complex medical needs in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized nursing care to children with a range of conditions, including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop tailored care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer a range of therapeutic interventions, including IV therapies, in accordance with agreed clinical pathways and within the scope of your practice.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records, adhering to relevant regulatory standards and protocols.
Requirements
  • Registered Sick Children's Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Competent in the administration of IV therapies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet changing service demands.
  • Knowledge of therapies and drugs relevant to our service offering, including NHS knowledge relating to the management of patients with treated conditions.
