Position: Clinical Nurse Specialist

Work Schedule: Combination of office-based duties and community visits for assessments and evaluations.

Hours: Between 9 am and 5 pm with PAID BREAKS - 40 hours per week

Role Overview: As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be an integral part of the care team, executing all necessary forms of care in collaboration with the management and other care personnel. Your role will ensure that care services are delivered consistently to a high standard, addressing the personal care needs of clients while upholding their dignity and promoting independence. You will assist in the nursing care of residents and support the daily operations of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized care and support plans for residents.
  • Monitor the health status of clients and provide expert nursing care, including medication management, while being prepared to work with both adults and children with complex health needs such as PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy), stoma care, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, catheter care, and palliative care. This includes addressing conditions like strokes, multiple sclerosis, special learning needs, diabetes, mental health issues, and substance misuse.
  • Ensure the health and safety of staff, clients, and visitors in both office and client environments. Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act and relevant legislation, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards and all company policies related to the Health Act 2006.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid NMC PIN is required.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is essential.
  • Commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.
  • Strong knowledge and skills relevant to the nursing role.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is necessary.
