Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Contracts Manager to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, with experience of working on residential refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple sites, with a value of up to £10-£15million.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple sites, with a value of up to £10-£15million
  • Negotiate packages of work with subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Procure materials and services, ensuring best value for the company
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and company policies
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience working for a refurbishment main contractor
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Contracts Manager
  • Leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams
  • Good data interrogation skills, with experience of using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
  • Valid driving licence
  • Excellent client engagement skills, with experience of working with clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent health and safety awareness, with experience of working in a safety-critical environment
  • Commercially aware, with experience of managing budgets and finances
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to drive performance from your team of staff
  • SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness, and First Aid at Work qualifications
  • Relevant NVQ desirable
