About the Role:
Our esteemed client, a leader in the Passive Fire Protection industry with over two decades of experience, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager specializing in Passive Fire Protection. This role involves overseeing Fire Stopping Installation and remedial contracts across a diverse range of projects, primarily within the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of projects, ensuring that they are executed according to the defined scope, within the stipulated time frame, and budget constraints.
- Maintain and foster robust working relationships with clients, surveyors, and fellow managers to facilitate a smooth transition through all project phases, from estimation to execution.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all project activities.
- Support the management team in the comprehensive planning and oversight of assigned projects.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing Fire Stopping contracts at a managerial level.
- In-depth knowledge of Passive Fire Protection products, systems, and installation techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership in providing technical expertise, constructive guidance, and commercial insight to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to collaborate effectively through clear communication with team members and clients to ensure successful project completions.
- Stay informed about local and national building codes, fire protection regulations, and industry best practices to guarantee full compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Certifications:
Applicants should hold the following qualifications:
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
- NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent.
- A valid CSCS Card.
- Fire Safety Inspection Diploma (FSIDip) or a similar qualification.
