Position Overview

At United Living Group, we are expanding our refurbishment division and are seeking a skilled Senior Refurbishment Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing residential refurbishment projects within a main contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Refurbishment Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects valued between £10-£15 million. Your role will involve:

  • Leading project teams to ensure successful delivery of refurbishment contracts.
  • Engaging in procurement processes, including negotiating terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to maximize value and service delivery.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a refurbishment main contractor.
  • At least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing contracts.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills for data assessment.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel for tracking purposes.
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Robust understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Commercially astute with excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications Required
Applicants should hold the following certifications:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
  • Asbestos Awareness Certification
  • First Aid at Work Certification
  • Relevant NVQ qualifications are desirable.
