**Location:** South of England (with occasional international travel)

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our team in the South of England. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and repairing a wide range of products, including sorting systems, baling presses, shredders, and conditioners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Install, commission, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
  • Provide PLC programming support to the electrical department as needed
  • Manufacture control systems in the company workshop and install them onsite
  • Support the workshop manager with various duties when site work is not available
  • Travel to various locations, including international assignments, for unspecified periods at short notice
  • Work overtime, including weekends and bank holidays, as required by the workload

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical engineering within a relevant industry
  • Strong skills in PLC programming and a willingness to provide support in this area
  • Flexibility to travel and work away from home, including international assignments
  • Commitment to working overtime and on weekends when necessary

**What We Offer:**

  • A competitive annual salary between £34,000 - £40,000
  • Overtime available and paid at T1/2 when additional hours are worked
