About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team at Field, a leading company in the renewable energy sector. As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our battery sites, working closely with our internal teams and external consultants to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of battery sites, including the creation of 2D and 3D models, and the production of detailed design drawings and plans.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams and external consultants to ensure that our designs meet the required standards and regulations.
  • Review and approve external designs and drawings to ensure that they meet our requirements and standards.
  • Develop and maintain our in-house design knowledge and processes, including technical information, construction methods, and safety requirements.
  • Support the implementation of our internal data management system and ensure compliance with our processes.
  • Train and share knowledge with other members of the design team.
Requirements
  • Degree in engineering (civils) or a related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in an engineering role, preferably in the energy storage industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and experience with Civil 3D and Revit or similar 3D software.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external consultants.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
