Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Senior HR Advisor to join our client's dynamic team in Wigan. As a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance on HR matters, develop and implement policies, and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to people managers, providing advice on HR and people-related matters.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to people managers on employee relations matters.
  • Monitor employee absence and provide support to ensure proper management.
  • Provide advice in accordance with legal and best practice requirements.
  • Maintain awareness of current HR legislative requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience as an HR Generalist, ideally with a focus on employee relations.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills and experience working with operational managers.
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • CIPD qualification or on the journey to becoming fully qualified.
  • Current knowledge of employment law and legislation.
