Scope: 5 Companies Across the UK | Circa 200 employees | Regular Travel Required

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager with a highly hands-on approach to drive HR operations across five companies in the sporting equipment sector, with a primary base of operations near Burnley.

This role involves direct action and involvement as you are primarily responsible for HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational HR & Compliance : Ensure active compliance with UK employment law and establish practical, business-specific, HR policies across multiple sites.
  • Payroll Management : Execute payroll coordination directly with an external provider, ensuring accurate and timely processing for all entities.
  • HR Information System (HRIS) Implementation : Conduct a feasibility study and actively participate in the setup of an HRIS system to streamline HR processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with the leadership of each company, serving as an accessible, trusted HR advisor.
  • Employee Relations : Manage on-the-ground HR activities to foster positive workplace dynamics in a non-unionized environment, addressing employee relations directly.
