About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Management Accountant to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality management reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective management reporting processes and procedures
  • Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of management reporting and monthly postings
  • Deliver high-quality board reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support business growth and improvement
  • Develop and maintain group-wide KPIs, driving business performance and identifying areas for improvement
  • Establish commercial analysis capabilities to deliver actionable insights to Exec and Board level
  • Support the development of Finance Graduates, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their success in the FP&A rotation

Requirements

  • ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification
  • Strong experience in management reporting, financial analysis, or related roles
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
  • Solution-oriented, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results under pressure
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams
