About the Job:

We are looking for a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a support worker in our supported living service in Canterbury. As a support worker, you will be supporting 4 adults with learning disabilities and autism with varying communication needs.

You will be responsible for helping individuals with everyday tasks to promote independence, such as shopping, health appointments, personal care, and finances. Additionally, you will be supporting vulnerable adults to participate in activities like going to the zoo, arts and crafts clubs, swimming, and holidays.

The successful applicant will require good, clear communication skills due to supporting individuals who are non-verbal and should be able to support with long health walks (up to 2 hours at a time), bike rides, and swimming.

Working Hours:

  • 7am-1pm
  • 8am-3:30pm
  • 12:30-8pm
  • 1-10pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays: 10am-5:30pm (rotational)

Location: Chartham, Canterbury
