We are recruiting a skilled and compassionate Subject Matter Expert in Learning Strategies to join our team at Beacon Support Ltd.

This role involves working closely with students who require one-to-one support with their higher education studies, developing and implementing tailored learning strategies to help them achieve academic success.

As a valuable member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students, contributing to their growth and well-being.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a degree level qualification, preferably in a related field such as education or psychology.

You will be required to possess experience working with individuals with specific learning differences, ideally in a higher or further education setting, and hold a professional membership with one of the following bodies: PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE or Dyslexia Guild.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning strategies to support students with specific learning differences
  • Work closely with students to understand their needs and goals, and develop effective plans to support their academic success
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Possess a strong understanding of the benefits and challenges associated with learning disabilities and how they impact on student learning
