Teaching Personnel works with local authorities, schools, and alternative provisions to create bespoke education programmes that meet the unique needs of each student.
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as an Outreach Tutor. In this role, you will work closely with students who require a tailored approach due to complex needs or challenging circumstances.
- Provide flexible, high-quality, 1:1 or small-group tutoring sessions in community settings, students' homes, or occasionally online.
- Deliver personalized tutoring sessions aligned with each student's learning goals, often supporting core subjects like English, math, and science.
- Adapt and differentiate lesson plans to engage students with special educational needs or emotional/behavioural challenges.
- Use creative and flexible approaches to overcome barriers to learning, drawing on trauma-informed and therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, school staff, and other professionals to support each student's progress and create a holistic learning environment.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with previous experience working with students with special educational needs or those who experience dysregulation. A teaching qualification or degree in education, psychology, or a related field is preferred.

Estimated Salary: £25-£35 per hour
