Job Title: Radiology Department Support Professional

The role of a Radiology Department Support Professional is to provide essential support and compassionate care to patients. The flexibility of a bank role enables care assistants to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Main Duties:
  • Monitoring patients' conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations, and weight.
  • Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Ensuring that the patient is the prime focus when making decisions about their care and well-being.
  • Assisting patients with compassion when undertaking normal activities of daily living, whilst ensuring that privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.
  • Meet and greet, prepare examination couch, wipe down probes.

This position allows you to make a significant impact on patients' lives by providing essential support and compassionate care.

What You Need:
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an Acute hospital environment as Radiology Department Assistant within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
Salary and Benefits:

$11.67 per hour (Day), $15.75 per hour (Sat/Nights), $19.72 per hour (Sun/Bank Hols)
