Deputy Head Teacher

The Deputy Head Teacher will play a key role in supporting the leadership and management of the school, enabling the delivery of quality education through the appropriate involvement of pupils, staff, parents, multi-disciplinary agencies, and the community it serves.
Key Responsibilities- Support the leadership and management of the school
- Enable the delivery of quality education
- Work with pupils, staff, parents, and the community to achieve educational goals
- Develop and implement educational policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs
The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher of the Deaf status with GTCS (or other relevant body) and meet the following minimum requirements:
- Appropriate teaching qualification
- Full GTC (Scotland) Registration in the appropriate subject/sector
- PVG scheme membership
