SIMS Data Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SIMS Data Manager to oversee student data within our school's information system. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of student data, as well as providing essential support in exam analysis and report preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all student data within SIMS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with exam analysis and the preparation of detailed reports.
  • Prepare SIMS data for each reporting session and manage linked data and information systems.
  • Stay updated with ongoing developments within SIMS and undertake associated training.
  • Work collaboratively with the Exams Officer and support their activities.
  • Engage with all members of the school community and external agencies to maintain data integrity.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical administration and IT skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accurate data.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
  • Previous experience using SIMS or a similar school data management system is preferable.
  • The role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check.
