About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Band 3 Emergency Department and AAU Administrator. The successful candidate will provide a front-line reception service and administrative function to the hot floor, delivering a high standard of customer care to a wide range of client groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, investigate, verify, and record patient demographic and treatment data with a high standard of accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Enter information on the computerized patient information system to ensure the trust receives the appropriate level of income for patient activity, avoids clinical risks, and meets national NHS targets.
- Undertake effective forward planning to ensure administrative needs are met and carry out a range of administration processes to support high-quality patient care.

Person Specification
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
- NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent.
- Experience of working in a public/patient-facing role.
- Previous work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience of working with Cerner, or similar electronic Patient Administration Systems.
