Insurance Account Handler

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Account Handler to join our team at PIB Insurance Brokers. As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in commercial insurance, with a focus on account handling. You will be responsible for:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their unique needs
- Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their business requirements, and identifying opportunities to deliver value-added services
- Working closely with our commercial insurance team to provide expert advice and guidance on commercial insurance matters
- Identifying opportunities to deliver value-added services, such as risk management and compliance advice
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the JobAs an Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing effective account handling strategies, resulting in increased retention and growth
- Providing expert advice and guidance on commercial insurance matters, including policy reviews and renewals
- Buidling strong relationships with clients, brokers, and insurers to deliver exceptional customer service
- Identifying opportunities to deliver value-added services, such as risk management and compliance advice
Requirements
- Minimum 5 GCSEs, grades A-C, including English and Maths
- Previous experience in an account handling or commercial insurance role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and challenges
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships
