Insurance Claims Handler

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Claims Handler to join our team at PIB Group. As a Commercial Insurance Claims Handler, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional claims service to our clients, managing claims from cradle to grave, and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and business policies & procedures.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annumResponsibilities- Manage claims across different products, such as Property, Liability, Marine, and Business Interruption, ensuring service standards are met and/or exceeded.
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of Acturis and utilize it effectively to manage claims efficiently.
- Provide claims information and reports to the broking department and clients as required.
- Ensure complex claims are handled in accordance with group procedures.
- Acknowledge all new claims to clients and insurers, keep clients informed, and strive for the best possible outcome on each claim.
- Produce claims MI/claims reports when necessary.
- Maintain strong communication skills, both verbally and written, to present claims information to clients.
- Rigorous Property, Liability, Marine, and Business Interruption insurance claims handling experience, coupled with commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of insurance claims procedures.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service experiences, adhering to TCF and KYC methodologies.
- Familiarity with Acturis (desirable but not essential) and proficiency in using MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
- Cert CII or working towards this qualification.
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
