Job Summary:

The University of Central Lancashire's School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Compliance and Resources Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Compliance and Governance team, ensuring the smooth operation of the School's Quality Management Framework and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the coordination and servicing of meetings related to the School's Quality Management Framework, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing action sheets.
  • Support the planning and coordination of the resource mapping process for the School, ensuring the procurement of necessary resources to sustain current operational activities and support the school's development plans.
  • Provide administrative support for new staff appointments, ensuring HR and Finance processes are followed, and assist with space and IT requirements for new staff.
  • Support the procurement of goods and services, and assist with the arrangements and renewal of consultancy and secondment agreements, working closely with the Contracts Team and Finance.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding actions.

Requirements:

  • GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or equivalent.
  • A word processing/typing or IT qualification or equivalent experiential learning.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
