Job Title: Transport Programme Planner

We are seeking an experienced Transport Programme Planner to join our Highways, Transport & Design service at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a portfolio of transport projects, assisting and leading in their development and delivery. As a Transport Programme Planner, you will be responsible for client role and programme management, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver transport projects, working closely with stakeholders and teams.
  • Manage budgets and finances, ensuring effective planning and control.
  • Communicate complex technical issues to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Make informed decisions and work to deadlines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in project/programme management and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience working in or with public sector organisations.
  • Effective budget and financial planning skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex technical issues.
  • Strong track record of decision making and working to deadlines.
