Job Title: Transport Programme Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Programme Manager to join our Highways, Transport & Design service at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of a portfolio of transport projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist and lead in the development and delivery of transport projects
* Manage client relationships and programme management of transport projects
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals
* Develop and maintain effective budget and financial plans
* Communicate complex technical issues to a wide range of stakeholders

Requirements:

* Proven experience in project/programme management and leading multi-disciplinary teams
* Experience working in or with public sector organisations
* Strong budget and financial planning skills
* Ability to understand and communicate complex technical issues
* Strong track record of decision making and working to deadlines
