We are seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at The Connaught Grill. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef to develop their skills and career within our award-winning 5-Star deluxe hotel.

Under the direction of internationally renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the intimate 46-seat Connaught Grill offers a modern interpretation of a classic grill with an open kitchen, wood burning grill, and rotisserie. Our menu features the finest British-sourced produce, including langoustines, Dover sole, English game, and Wagyu beef, paired with an exceptional wine list from our Connaught wine cellar.

Responsibilities:

As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Senior Sous Chef and play a key role in the day-to-day running and leadership of our culinary operations. You will be passionate about working with the freshest ingredients and delivering quality dishes and products. You will take an organized approach to your role, prioritize effectively, and support the training and development of junior chefs in the brigade.

Requirements:

You will be an exceptional team player with excellent communication skills, a focus on detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding quality and service in a high-profile kitchen. With this in mind, you will have experience at a similar level within a quality dining environment and have proven kitchen experience.
