Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one support to individuals with autism and related disabilities, promoting their independence and choice.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene, and household management.
- Support individuals with complex needs, including physical and learning disabilities.
- Drive a mobility car or service vehicle, with a manual license required.
- Work with individuals who may display challenging behaviors, mental health issues, or other complex needs.
- Administer medication and assist with medical procedures, as required.
- Form good working relationships with other members of staff and individuals we support.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
- Manual driving license.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and related disabilities.
- Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve.
- Understanding of individual abilities and support needs.
- Commitment to promoting independence and choice.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Paid DBS check.
- 28 days holiday, plus option to buy 5 extra days per annum.
