Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead our Payments vertical expansion in Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record of selling IT Professional Services to drive business growth and revenue expansion in the Payments industry.

You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional results through your expertise and negotiation skills.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify potential target clients and drive sales pipeline growth.
  • Negotiate and close strategic new business deals, ensuring seamless client onboarding and delivery of high-quality services.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects, continually researching and contacting prospects to align with sales goals.
  • Apply your deep understanding of the Payments industry and its technological landscape to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and drive thought leadership.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in new business development, focused on selling IT Professional Services, preferably within the Payments industry or related sector.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving £3M+ quota per year, with a strong ability to identify industry pain points and engage with C-level decision-makers.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a hunter-centric approach to prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, and closing contracts.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to prepare and present proposals, business cases, and statements of work.
