IT Change Manager

As the IT Change Manager at Vitality, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT Change and Service Transition teams, working closely with IT Operations, Architects, Project Managers, BAU support teams, and 3rd party service providers to ensure adherence to the IT Operational Change Management Policy and processes across all environments.
Key Responsibilities- Define Policy and Standards: Develop and maintain policy and standards for Change workflows, ensuring alignment with ITIL4 best practices.
- Assess and Mitigate Risks: Assess Change impacts and risks, making informed decisions on behalf of the business to minimize potential consequences.
- Develop Change Strategy: Define strategy for the change function, ensuring effective transition of IT services and minimizing disruption to business operations.
- Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Act as an escalation point for Change requesters, approvers, and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Coordinate Audits and Compliance: Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with internal security and technology standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Oversee Service Transition: Oversee the transition of new and/or changed services into BAU, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure quality control and assurance of Service Readiness and Service Acceptance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- ITIL Foundation/Practitioner Qualifications: Possess ITIL Foundation and Practitioner qualifications, with a strong understanding of ITIL4 best practices.
- ITIL Service Transition Certification: Hold ITIL Service Transition certification, with a strong understanding of service transition processes and best practices.
- 5+ Years in IT Change Management: Possess 5+ years of experience in IT Change Management, with a strong understanding of change management processes and best practices.
- Significant IT Experience in the Insurance Sector: Possess significant IT experience in the insurance sector, with a strong understanding of industry-specific requirements and best practices.
